Deadly office building fire in Indonesia’s capital kills at least 22 people

A devastating fire tore through an office building in Indonesia’s capital, resulting in a significant loss of life. Initial reports confirm that at least 22 people were killed in the blaze, marking one of the city’s worst structural fire disasters in recent memory.

Emergency services responded rapidly, but the intensity of the fire and the structure of the building hindered rescue efforts. Investigations are now underway to determine the cause of the fire and assess whether building safety protocols and fire codes were adequately enforced.
