Progress in the Dawn Sturgess Novichok Inquiry: Key Witnesses Expected to Testify Next Week

The public inquiry into the tragic death of Dawn Sturgess, who died after being exposed to the Novichok nerve agent in Salisbury, is set to hear crucial evidence from key witnesses next week. The investigation continues to delve into the circumstances surrounding her contamination and the alleged involvement of Russian state actors in the initial poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal, where the discarded Novichok came from. Lawyers representing the Sturgess family are pushing for full disclosure of intelligence documents to ensure accountability and uncover the complete sequence of events. The inquiry aims not only to establish how Sturgess came into contact with the lethal substance but also to scrutinize the governmental and security response mechanisms post-incident. The proceedings remain highly sensitive due to the international implications, ensuring that the quest for justice for Dawn Sturgess remains a priority, despite the geopolitical complexities.
