More than 50,000 UK organisations are being warned that they are vulnerable after a researcher using AI discovered a "critical security issue" in a globally-used programming language. Earlier on Thursday, a minister said more than thirty government services are offline and four are partially unavailable while work is being carried out to address the potential risk.
