Super typhoon Champi heads toward China as Shanghai braces for heavy rain

Super #typhoon Champi, packing winds of 68 meters per second, is moving toward #China's southeastern coast. Shanghai has placed water rescue teams along the Huangpu River on 24-hour standby, with rescue boats, life jackets and pumps checked and ready.
