What disruption can we expect from Storm Austen?

Storm Austen is expected to hit the UK late on October 22, bringing strong winds and rain, but how disruptive is it expected to be? The Met Office has issued a number of weather warnings across the UK for October 23, including yellow warnings for parts of the South West, South East, Wales and Scotland. An amber wind warning is in place for Cornwall, Devon, the Isles of Scilly and Plymouth. Those in affected areas could see damaging winds, travel disruption, while large waves could be a danger to life.
